Nathan Jones is the Organist and Director of Children's Music at Winder First United Methodist Church in Winder, GA and the Accompanist for Voices of North Georgia, an accomplished community choir based in Gainesville, GA. Since 2009, he has taught music students of all skill levels as young as 7 up to students in their late 70's. In addition to teaching, Nathan is an active performer, with a wide range of experience in vocal and instrumental music. Nathan's performances have included solo organ concerts, musical programs for the Atlanta chapter of the American Guild of Organists, improvised jazz piano with bands small and large, extensive experience with choral music, performance of the role of Grandpa Moss in Aaron Copland's opera The Tender Land, an impromptu performance with Grammy-nominated cellist Dave Eggar, and more. Nathan lives in Winder with his wife, Nicky, and daughter, Natalie.
